A Case of Meckel´s Diverticulum

Abstract

|
A case of Meckel´s diverticulum complicated by hemorrhage was reported. Possible causes of intestinal bleeding were ruled out by laboratory examinations including whole hemogram, bone marrow examination, sigmoidoscopy, barium enema and upper G-I series- Consequently it was strongly suggested as Meckel´s diverticulum. Exploratory Iaparatomy was performed and the diverticulum was found. Wedge resection of the diverticulum was done with complete remission- Review of literature was also made briefly.
